AVA Announces HyperBlaze 1.57

The smart home company AVA has introduced its new HyperBlaze 1.57 OS release on the heels of its Blaze 1.56 introduction.

HyperBlaze (1.57.0) offers several new IP drivers for multizone sound processors, expanding homeowners’ control options across top-tier AV brands:

  • Sony AVR IP Driver: Full IP control for all current Sony AVRs (Zones 1-4, ToughLink). Note: Older models require IR control.
  • Yamaha AVR IP Driver: Reliable IP control for all current Yamaha AVRs (Zones 1-4, ToughLink).
  • StormAudio AVR IP Driver: A fast, full-featured IP driver for StormAudio processors (Zones 1-2).

HyperBlaze 1.57 IP-Controlled HDMI Matrix

  • AVPro Edge HDMI Matrix IP Driver: Take control of AVPro Edge HDMI matrices over the network. Switch sources, route signals, and manage video distribution with the AVA OS.

  • Support for both 1-chip & 3-chip models: The AVA OS HyperBlaze 1.57 is now said to provide a better fit for high-end home theaters. This driver uses the newly introduced authentication method by Barco Residential.
  • Kaleidescape Auto Populating: Flow now dynamically updates with movie cover art as you browse Kaleidescape’s iconic UI. Instantly see artwork change in real time while searching for your next film. This update rolls out automatically for everyone
  • Updated Lutron IP Driver: This beta update brings additional features and bug fixes. The HyperBlaze 1.57 integration supports Lutron Homeworks and RadioRA3 for all kinds of lights, shades, and scenes.
