Savant is officially taking the wraps off its AI assistant, which the company plans to soon introduce through a subscription, though the exact time frame has not yet been given. The assistant has been in development for several years, according to Savant, with a limited demonstration being offered at Lightapalooza earlier this year.

The Savant AI assistant will be showcased at CEDIA Expo 2026 alongside the new Savant OS 12 coming this fall, GE Proseo Lighting & Shades and Savant’s expanding energy management portfolio. Alongside this announcement, Savant has also stated it will be rolling out new dealer programs which it will also highlight at the show.

“Since 2005, we’ve been committed to delivering exceptional value to integrators through cutting-edge, reliable smart home solutions that push the boundaries of innovation,” said JC Murphy, Chief Commercial Officer at Savant.

“We’re continuing to enhance and grow our suite of advanced Savant technologies, while also streamlining licensing and software models, expanding access and affordability, and simplifying setup and service to help them realize operational efficiencies, scale current projects, and win new business.”

SavantOS 12 and Savant AI

According to Savant, SavantOS 12 will standardize the company’s software offering into a single, unified platform. The update plans to give integrators multiple entry points into the Savant smart home and flexible scalability across the entire product lineup, so projects of any size can run on the same foundation.

SavantOS 12 is also stated to have additional value for Savant Essentials, Savant’s subscription-based service. It also lays the groundwork for a new conversational user experience powered by Savant AI, which will be arriving later in the form of a subscription-based model.

Instead of just giving value to the homeowner, however, Savant says the AI will work to the benefit of integrators as well. According to the company, the AI will enable easier in-app setup and a streamlined configuration process to service and support, giving it more value across the project lifecycle.

Headlined by a new affordable dual-purpose keypad host that serves as both a light switch and a smart home hub, Savant will also be highlighting its Proseo solutions and how they can be delivered as an integrated whole-home smart platform or a standalone solution for luxury, mid-level, or entry-level residences.

Savant Power

Savant is also expanding its home battery portfolio with Savant Power Storage G2 and new software that turns existing Savant Power Storage units into a large-format Double Online Conversion UPS.

G2 brings a UL9540A fire rating, an outdoor-ready heated battery cabinet and a simplified universal enclosure with self-serve firmware, while the new Double Online Conversion software delivers standalone, twin-inverter battery backup with pure sine-wave power for critical and high-performance applications.
