Weclome to Friday folks. Let’s get you Wired In to some of the major product announcements you might have missed from this week. Wiim now works with Home Assistant. Savant announced an integration with Schlage Encode deadbolts. And Jetbuilt added a new system design feature as part of its Jetbot AI engine.

WiiM announced the official integration of Home Assistant in the WiiM Home App and across its ecosystem on April 23. This integration allows WiiM users to add devices to Home Assistant, adding full playback control, multiroom audio grouping, and intelligent audio automations onto the Home Assistant interface.

The Home Assistant integration is available now in the WiiM Home App and Home Assistant via its latest software update. WiiM devices are automatically discovered by Home Assistant and can be added with a single click.

Loewe Technologies x D-Tools

Loewe Technologies announced a partnership with D-Tools on Thursday, adding its portfolio of luxury AV technologies to D-Tools system design tools. This integration will allow users of the D-Tools platform to specify and design custom-built solutions using Loewe’s suite of products, like the recently introduced stellar OLED TVs.

Additionally, through the partnership, Loewe is joining the D-Tools i3 (Industry Information & Insight) Program, providing D-Tools users with the most accurate product specifications, tailored pricing and real-time updates.

Savant x Schlage Encode

Savant announced on the 23rd an integration with the Schlage Encode Family of Smart WiFi Deadbolts. Through the integration Savant users can monitor alerts, send lock/unlock commands from the main screen on their Savant interfaces and add camera feeds or personalized lock/unlock notifications.

Schlage Encode locks are also compatible with voice commands and Savant Scenes as part of the new integration.

The integration also adds Encode onto the Savant Door Lock Service within the Savant App, allowing users to Lock/Unlock doors and view status of any connected door lock. Users can also configure push notifications when a door locks or unlocks. Savant integrators can also add a camera feed for each door lock.

La-Z-Boy x Klipsch

The lazy boy and Klipsch Audio Luxe AV Recliner

A new product from La-Z-Boy and Klipsch debuted on April 20, combining audio and seating by essentially combining the two categories. The Audio Luxe, as it is being called, it a new furniture line that features audio embedded directly into recliner and motion seating.

Key features of the AudioLuxe line include embedded Klipsch speakers and subwoofers, as well as support for surround sound formats when paired with external systems. When used alongside the Klipsch Flexus Sound System, the furniture can support a 5.1.2 surround configuration with Dolby Atmos.

In addition to its audio capabilities, the line maintains La-Z-Boy’s core furniture features, including adjustable recline, lumbar support, headrests, and customizable upholstery options. The company says the design emphasizes modern styling intended to fit within contemporary living spaces.

Jetbuilt Recommend

Jetbuilt introduced an all-new feature to its Jetbot AI on April 21. Labeled “Recommend,” the feature generates equipment suggestions and complete system starting points based on user-defined project requirements, streamlining the early stages of system design.

According to Jetbuilt, Recommend is designed to assist system designers. Users can describe a project at a high level or define individual spaces, such as conference rooms or equipment racks, and Jetbot will suggest appropriate products, quantities and system configurations.

Recommend can also generate a full bill of materials, apply labor and structure the project directly within the Jetbuilt environment. According to Jetbuilt, Jetbot will prioritize products, brands and design methods already used within a firm’s historical projects, ensuring recommendations align with established standards.
