Drapery continues to catch the attention of the custom integration (CI) channel, as Lutron Electronics has launched an all-new set of drapes for its Palladiom line. Marking a global product launch, Palladiom drapery is an exposed-rod solution that carries the design language of the Palladiom family into decorative drapery applications.
The news comes following a recent integration with Rithum for Lutron RadioRA 3.
Lutron Launches Palladiom Drapery
According to Lutron, Palladiom drapery was developed in response to the growing popularity of soft window treatments. Featuring a sleek profile, the system conceals most of its automation components within the rod itself, creating a refined exposed-rod appearance.
The rod itself is crafted from lightweight yet rigid aluminum meant to support substantial textiles while maintaining the elegant, minimalist profile synonymous with Palladiom products.
“Palladiom drapery represents an important evolution of our window treatment portfolio,” said Cecilia Ramos, Senior Director of Architectural Markets at Lutron. “For the first time, designers can extend the Palladiom experience across both roller shades and drapery, creating a more cohesive approach to window treatments throughout the home.”
Five finish and four end treatment options are available with Pure White, Black Anodized, Clear Anodized, Bronze Anodized and Satin Nickel and End Bracket, End Cap, Finial and Finial with Swaorvski, respectively.

Demand for automated window treatments continues to grow, with 56% of designers now incorporating them into their projects, according to Lutron’s 2026 Luxury Residential Trend Report: Living with Light. Additionally, CE Pro‘s 2026 Lighting & Shading Deep Dive found that 76% of integrators saw lighting and shading revenue increase within the last 12 months.
