After some big product launches earlier this year, KEF has a special announcement for the integrators in the room with the release of certified KEF drivers through the Crestron Driver Portal. These new drivers allow KEF speakers to integrate seamlessly into the Crestron Home platform.
The drivers will be available to integrators in October 2026.
“Partnering with Crestron, one of the preeminent names in home control and automation, means our dealers and integrators get tested KEF drivers right where they work — in the Crestron Driver Portal,” David G. Kroll, Vice President, KEF America. “It removes friction from every install and lets the focus stay where it belongs: on the sound.”
Why Integrators Should Take Note
Designed to simplify the integration process, the certified drivers support reliable communication between KEF loudspeakers and Crestron systems. For integrators, this means a more streamlined set-up and commissioning experience; for homeowners, it means effortless access to exceptional KEF sound within the broader home environment.
Crestron itself is one of the leading platforms for premium home automation and control, ranking second in the 2026 CE Pro 100 Brand Analysis with 38% of CE Pro 100 companies using Crestron on their projects. With certified KEF drivers, integrators can more easily discover, configure, and control KEF products within their Crestron projects.
“KEF is one of the industry’s premier speaker brands, and providing a premium installation experience by offering native support of control drivers for our Dealers and Integrators will ensure a seamless experience with no need to program, compile, and test, ensuring full compatibility with Crestron Home,” said Bob Bavolacco, Strategic Partnerships Director, Crestron.
