While RGB takes the world by storm, Sony is continuing to update its OLED offerings, quietly announcing a new BRAVIA OLED for U.S. and Canadian markets: the BRAVIA 6. The news comes as the major electronics brand is prepping for its presence at CEDIA Expo 2026 Sept. 1 – 4 at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver, Colo.
Featuring self-emissive OLED technology for deep blacks and vibrant color, Triluminos Pro, Google TV with Gemini, and support for Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos and DTS:X 2, the BRAVIA 6 ranges in sizes from 48-inches to 83-inches, rounding out Sony’s affordable offerings for the lineup.
“As Sony continues to innovate in picture and sound quality, the company remains committed to delivering a full lineup of televisions designed to meet a variety of viewing preferences and entertainment needs,” notes Sony representatives.
Earlier this year, the company launched the BRAVIA 7 II and BRAVIA 9 II displays, introducing Sony’s RGB LED technology for the first time into its product line and officially placing the company into the RGB competition with the likes of Hisense, Samsung and LG.
While at CEDIA Expo 2026, Sony will be exhibiting its new RGB TVs alongside the company’s projection and video wall projects as it looks to highlight the varied landscape of premium home entertainment for the channel. No confirmation has been given as to whether the BRAVIA 6 will make an appearance alongside its brethren while Sony is at the show.
