Masimo Consumer has named Mark Quiroz as its chief commercial officer (CCO). Quiroz will oversee the global sales organization spanning North and South America, Europe and Asia, and he will be based in the company’s Carlsbad, Calif. Headquarters.
As CCO of the consumer division, Quiroz will oversee a team of over 200 dedicated sales professionals and play an important role on the leadership team, leveraging his experience to drive growth for Masimo’s consumer brands, which were acquired by Masimo in February 2022. “In business, winning always starts with great products and we have that throughout our portfolio of premium audio brands and our growing consumer health offerings.” explains Mark Quiroz. “It’s this commitment to innovation and delivering unparalleled, emotive experiences that separates us in the marketplace. I’m excited to build on that differentiation and continue to delight our loyal base of customers, while at the same time, developing the next generation.”
Masimo Consumer boasts that as a lover of music and film, Quiroz, a San Diego native, brings with him a track record of success in growing technology businesses, most recently as vice president and general manager, U.S. Mobile Computing & Paid Services at Samsung where he led the New Computing & Mobile Enhancements Division including tablets, PCs, wearables, and true wireless sound. Prior to this role, Quiroz’s previous career experience includes over 21 years with HP, where he managed a broad range of consumer electronics in the high-tech computing and printing spaces. Ultimately, he reached the position of vice president & global head of sales & go-to-market management.
“I am delighted to have Mark join us on the consumer team here at Masimo,” adds Blair Tripodi, chief operating officer of Masimo’s consumer division. “Mark’s impressive track record and wealth of experience in the technology and sales sectors make him a perfect fit for our organization.
