Peerless-AV and Saylee Greer to Present Education Session on ‘Integrating the Outdoors with A/V’
Todd Mares and Christopher Greer will be hosting an educational session at CEDIA Expo 2018 on how best to avoid the common pitfalls of outdoor A/V installations.
On Friday, September 7 at 3:00 pm, Peerless-AV’s director of emerging technologies, Todd Mares, and Christopher Greer, president/designer at Saylee Greer – Landscape Architecture, will be leading an education session at the San Diego Convention Center, Room 30A.
Aimed at helping home technology experts, Mares and Greer will be discussing ways to integrate the outdoors with A/V.
A residential technology professional’s job is to produce top-notch A/V integrations for their clients. When it comes to the outdoors, however, there are a variety of factors that can make this undertaking more taxing, such as weather, connection to electricity, and safety.
The presentation will address these challenges and provide useful tips for integrating the outdoors. Mares and Greer will share their steps for designing an outdoor A/V space, with a focus on spec’ing that area.
They will also outline a coordination plan from start to finish, and offer recommendations for solutions that are best suited for outdoor applications, including outdoor TVs, soundbars, wireless products, and mounts.
