WAC Group is releasing a new set of spa-grade lighting fixtures via its Modern Forms lineup. The TUCK series, which already exists as an outdoor luminary, has been updated for spas and saunas with added heat resistance to an already wet-rated design. According to WAC Group, “Spa and sauna lighting has been needed for quite some time,” with the updated TUCK fixtures looking to address that need.
The lights themselves come in three different iterations, yet all share a similar circular profile defined by a diffuser with banded ring design, which, when lit, emits a soft, even glow designed to provide ambient illumination starting at 600 max lumens.
While the outdoor version of the TUCK lights offers four different CCT colorways, the sauna option is only available in 3000K. It is, however, heat resistant up to 185 degrees Fahrenheit and sports a 90 CRI. Additionally, the lights can be mounted either on ceilings or wall in all orientations.
The Sauna-ready versions of TUCK, TUCK II, or TUCK III are also ADA-compliant, Title 24-compliant and ETL-listed.
Why integrators should take note
While the custom integration (CI) industry is no stranger to specialty spa and sauna installs in the home, the 2026 CEDIA Expo put a particularly strong spotlight on the category as companies like Kohler and Thermasol have started to explore the channel more with connected bath solutions.
On its own, this would merit nothing more a curious intrigue, but both brands received considerable interest from integrators at the show, highlighting the appetite this channel has for being able to provide a connected sauna or spa solution. For this reason, CE Pro has identified the connected bath and spa as being a potential breakout category for integrators in the coming years given both homeowner and integrator interest.
And like other design-driven, wellness-focused spaces, lighting will ultimately sit as one of the pillars of experience.
