One year after introducing the latest generation of its iconic speaker (and a few weeks after announcing a version built specifically for custom integration) Devialet has an all-new, limited edition marked by a new finish: the Phantom Ultimate 98 dB – Pulse Blue. The new look and model are part of a partnership the company has with Global Brand Ambassador Isack Hadjar, a Formula 1 driver for Oracle Red Bull Racing.
Pulse Blue revisits the brand’s previously explored color identity, shifting the finish of the speaker’s side panels from matte to gloss with a mirror-polished surface. A clear varnish further enhances the deep RAL 5011 blue, creating a vibrant, light-responsive finish. The logo has also been refined for total visual coherence.
The new speaker also comes with a new stand to complete the look.
The Tech Behind the Phantom Ultimate Pulse Blue
The Devialet Phantom Ultimate 98 dB – Pulse Blue builds on the Devialet DOS 3 software architecture while also integrating an extensive range of streaming protocols via AirPlay, Google Cast, Roon Ready, Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, Qobuz Connect, and UPnP.
Beyond that, the Pulse Blue retains much of the original’s acoustic performance in a more compact form. The Pulse blue sports high-fidelity reproduction across frequency ranges from 18 Hz to 25 kHz (±6 dB), delivering up to 98 dB SPL.
An optimized audio chain supports files up to 24-bit / 192 kHz while a dedicated full-range driver broadens the acoustic field, to reproduce each note with precision and balance. Additionally, the Pulse Blue supports flexible listening in solo, stereo, or multi-room configurations, with compatibility across AirPlay, Google Cast, Roon Ready.
Through the Devialet app users can also access a 6-band equalizer to adjust frequencies as well as Bass Reducer and Loudness functionalities for added control over low-frequency intensity and improved acoustic compensation at lower volumes.
