Describing its latest home audio product as a cutting-edge solution as part of a transformational period, Luxman America has announced its new D-07X Digital Player.
The company points out the product supports MQA-CDs, MQA files, PCM files up to 32-bit/768kHz, 22.44MHz DSD files, and traditional CD and SACD discs. Luxman America explains the D-07X Digital Player features design elements that have trickled down from its top-of-the-line D-10X, including the LxDTM-i disc transport and ROHM MUS-IC BD34301EKV digital-to-analog converters.
Elaborating on those technologies, the company states the LxDTM-i disc transport was developed to minimize the exposure of the transport to vibrations, which can cause distortion. To accomplish this task, the LxDTM-i disc transport is enclosed in steel top and side plates. The D-07X’s ROHM MUS-IC BD34301EKV digital-to-analog converters (DACs) are said to reflect 28 different parameters to optimize sound quality that touches upon product fundamentals such as layout, circuit design, wafer construction and IC packaging.
Aiding the D-07X Digital Player’s ability to play a range of file formats, Luxman America offers its companion LUXMAN Audio Player computer software, which is available for Mac OS and Microsoft Windows operating systems.
Luxman America adds that its new digital audio player also incorporates an oversized power supply, and installer-friendly features such as a choice RCA and XLR outputs; digital coax and optical outputs, digital optical and coaxial inputs, and a USB input. In addition, the D-07X Digital Player also includes 12-volt triggers, and control in and out connections.
