PerfTech, creator of the Island wired router, has expanded its sales and fulfillment across the U.S., further aiding integrators to specify and acquire the Island router for their home and small-business networking projects.
“During the past months, the Island team has engaged, signed, and trained a top-notch group of geographically-dispersed manufacturer rep firms and distributors,” states EVP of Island Sales Tom Gallo, adding “These guys are primed to market, deliver, and support Island as we advance into 2024.”
Active rep firms include: DSG Metro (Northeast); Tandem Marketing (North Central); SoundTech (West), and Bell & McCoy (South Central/Gulf Coast). Dave Silkin, CEO of New York-based DSG Metro, explains, “Our decision to bring the Island router to our dealer network was due to ease of installation, operation, and support. These guys have made the complex simple—easy for both installers and homeowners.”
Distributors currently carrying the PerfTech Island Router include five regional distributors aligned with the PowerHouse Alliance: 21st Century, Davis, Mountain West, PMC, and Sierra Select. After its CEDIA 2022 debut, Island caught the eye of Dennis Holzer, executive director of Powerhouse Alliance, who states, “Alliance member distributors are always looking for premium products that differentiate us from all the others. Island does just that. It also opens new doors to light commercial opportunities which is a direction our members are navigating towards.”
