Vanco

Vanco had several of its brands give 70V a jolt at CEDIA Expo. Beale Street Audio featured the BAV4250 (4-channel, 250W) and BAV2500 (2-channel, 500W) amplifiers that include a system setup GUI, as well as its pendant loudspeakers. Pulse Audio had a 40W/70V amplifier with mic input, RS232 control, digital/analog audio options, stackable up to 16 for large-scale systems. Evolution’s new EVOSKILLZ can automatically embed audio from a secondary source onto an HDMI cable, sense and switch audio, and maintain uninterrupted 4K video. Integrators can add voice control and streaming to any display, amplifier, or soundbar in places like bars/restaurants where you don’t need to hear what’s on TV, or provide audio messages and announcements over existing HDMI distributed systems in retail or office environment.

“You’re embedding the audio, which is coming through a 3.5mm auxiliary port, over the HDMI cable, so it’s a really neat piece,” says Aaron Rozanski, director, distributed markets for Vanco. “We’re actually going to be activating that in future matrix splitters and switches as well.”
