Just Add Power

Adding to its assortment of IP signal distribution solutions, Just Add Power incorporated Dante in its award-winning 3G+ 767DSS (Dante Sound System) gigabit PoE transmitter. “On the pro side, there’s already 2,000 SKUs that have Dante built into it,” Just Add Power’s Taft Stricklin notes. “I think that with everything going on in network audio and the convergence of AV/IT, it just makes sense for audio. When you think about the fact that anybody can buy an amplifier or a mixing console or powered PoE speaker, and you’re just connecting it to the network and you can set whatever audio you want on it, it makes sense. Guys are doing more commercial work, but also I’ve seen multiple residential-only companies that are now like, ‘Hey, we’re doing Dante.’”

Along with its Dante PoE transmitter solution, Just Add Power also catered to potential commercial designs with its Warp engine so integrators can rotate video, zoom in/out to make funky looking digital signage.
