The Peerless-AV PeerAir Wireless HD System can be used by integrators to provide a simple means of connectivity in situations where cable runs aren't an option.
More about Peerless AV
Peerless AV Company Info
The new PeerAir Wireless HD Multimedia System (HDS-WHDI100) is the latest generation wireless connectivity solution from the decades-old Peerless-AV.
Designed as cost-effective solutions for professional integrators serving residential and commercial markets, the system employs a stable metal-case design and reliable 802.11n wireless technologies to penetrate multiple walls, floors and ceilings.
The company says the system is plug-and-play, with quick set-up options, and an IR extender that enables the box to be hidden in a cabinet.
The system is ideal for adding televisions to bathrooms, kitchens and other spaces that aren't already wired for video. The PeerAir transmitter features an HDMI pass-through option, allowing hardwired TVs to stream duplicate content wirelessly to remote displays, eliminating the need for an extra cable box and additional fees.
In a commercial environment, Peerless-AV suggests using the wireless system in offices to upgrade aging A/V systems that may not include HDMI connectivity or other options.
In classrooms, PeerAir can be used instead to keep the kids from tripping over cabling runs from desks, podiums, displays or projectors.
In addition, as a solution in rental and staging applications where TVs are only used as temporary solutions, the PeerAir wireless system allows production crews to quickly set up TVs on carts or tables, and quickly break down these setups afterwards.
