We are introducing Precision System Testing, an upgraded system test mode allows a contractor to isolate and engage every individual component with a single tap. We are giving your techs full access to advanced settings directly on the wall. These settings are available right there during the initial setup, and remain accessible post-install. This means your techs can service and troubleshoot the system completely independently—no need to rely on the homeowner’s device or app ever again.

The Nest Learning Thermostat (4th gen) is now compatible with up to 3 stages of heat and 3 cool for conventional systems, or up to 5H 3C for heat pumps and hybrid heat, including multi-stage aux heat, delivering quieter operation, better dehumidification, and smoother heating transitions in high-end equipment.
