Theory Audio Design is augmenting its selection of loudspeaker products with the introduction its new iw25 in-wall loudspeaker.
Developed as a multipurpose audio solution, the new speaker is supported by accessories that include the sb Table Top Stand and sb25 Universal Mount Adapter to enable integrators to install the speaker on tables, walls and ceilings.
Theory Audio Design states the iw25 employs a 1.4-inch polymer compression driver and a pair of 5-inch carbon-fiber woofers. According to Theory Audio Design, the iw25 is capable of producing up to 117dB of sound pressure levels (SPLs), and the speaker incorporates a switch to allow professional integrators to select 70-volt/100-volt operation for distributed audio system applications.
The company notes for distributed audio applications in which the iw25 speaker is installed, it will soon release the companion ALM 10-channel Dante/AES67-enabled loudspeaker controller to support integrators’ ability to offer complete Theory Audio Design systems.
