SVS, a manufacturer of high-performance speakers, subwoofers, and accessories, has been chosen as the exclusive cinema sound provider for the inaugural T.H.E. Film Festival, which is a new venture tied to the Lone Star Audio Fest, which is claimed to be the longest-running audiophile show in the U.S.
As part of its partnership SVS emphasizes that it will be presenting its own immersive audio demos as part of the show outside the film festival’s official hours.

T.H.E. Lone Star Audio Fest and Film Festival runs May 2-4, 2025, at the Embassy Suites Round Rock in Texas. The reference SVS experience will be available for show attendees to experience from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day before the film festival kicks off in the Highlands Ballroom. Show attendees can also attend the film festival and hear the system by purchasing a general admission ticket to the show.
The reference system used for the festival and show will be a multi-channel surround sound array featuring flagship SVS Ultra Evolution Series speakers and 17-Ultra R|Evolution subwoofers connected with SVS SoundPath speaker, subwoofer, and HDMI cables. Representatives from the brand will also be available to answer questions about the system and to share knowledge on home theater set-up and optimization.
What is T.H.E. Film Festival?
T.H.E. Film Festival is an officially recognized festival on Film Freeway (one of the largest film festival portals globally) where films compete for awards such as Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor, etc. In addition, there will be special awards for Best HiFi-Focused Content and Best Home Theater Focused Content. Films of all genres can enter except horror and adult themes, as long as they were completed from 2019 until now. The Short film category will include 40 minutes and Feature films.
