Samsung has been committed to the development of OLED-based gaming monitors for several years, and earlier this year as part of the company’s CES 2025 activities, it introduced its latest high-performance gaming monitor: the G81SF OLED Gaming Monitor.
The global electronics manufacturer states its latest OLED gaming monitor provides gaming enthusiasts with a high-performance 27-inch solution that delivers a 4K UHD resolution, along with HDR10+ high dynamic range (HDR) compatibility. A key performance element to support high-performance gaming activities according to Samsung, is the 4K OLED monitor’s 240Hz refresh rate that helps to smooth fast-motion gaming action.
The HDR10+ GAMING certified G81SF Gaming Monitor is specified to deliver a response time of just 0.03ms, and the monitor incorporates built-in burn-in protection through the implementation of the company’s Safeguard+ technology, which Samsung emphasizes is essential for gamers.
Other design elements the 27-inch, high-performance gaming monitor provides gamers include the company’s Glare-Free Technology, which Samsung says allows the monitor to reside in just about any residential location without the fear of glare impacting gaming activities. Samsung also points out the G81SF OLED Gaming Monitor offers customizable rear-core lighting with a choice of 52 colors to help gamers personalize their gaming environments.
