The tool manufacturer Klein Tools has announced its new Rechargeable Headlamp with Silicon Strap.
Designed to help integrators in locations that include behind equipment racks, the new headlamp provides up to 400 lumens of brightness to help users see cabling connections, print on the back of components and more.
Klein Tools says that its latest product—catalog number 56064—is a LED unit that offers a choice of three operational modes:
- Boost at 400 lumens (four hours)
- Spotlight at 200 lumens (12 hours)
- Floodlight at 100 lumens (22 hours)
The company explains with the headlamp is in brightly lit room environments its auto sensing technology turns the product off after three minutes.
Klein Tools notes the product also provides a battery gauge to communicate battery life through the use of colored LEDs. The slim profile of the light with its pivoting mount enables up to 64-degrees of lighting angle. Other options include the light can be removed from the bracket for recharging purposes via an included micro-USB cable.
Additionally, Klein Tools notes the headlamp is designed for durability and validated by a drop-test rating of 6 feet, and the company says the product is dust and water resistant.
