Liaison Technology Group has acquired Imagine More, bringing Imagine More’s four retail lighting showrooms and established e-commerce presence together with Liaison’s nationally recognized custom integration capabilities.
The acquisition introduces a new model of service for Liaison, adding in the accessibility and product selection of a retail lighting business to its established installation segment.
What this Means for Liaison Technology Group and Imagine More
Effective immediately, Imagine More has joined Liaison Technology Group through a stock sale transaction while remaining the same legal entity. This structure allows existing operations, agreements, customer relationships and warranties to continue without interruption while giving Imagine More access to Liaison’s expanded resources and custom installation infrastructure.
As part of the transition, Imagine More co-founder Don Brehm will also retire after more than 15 years of helping build and lead the company. Co-founder Lenard Gale will remain with the organization as Vice President of Lighting Sales for Liaison Technology Group. Additional details about Gale’s leadership role and the company’s continued growth will be announced separately.
More Information on Imagine More
Founded in 2009 by Lenard Gale and Don Brehm, Imagine More operates four retail showrooms across Northern Colorado and Cheyenne. Headquartered in Windsor, Colorado, the company has developed a strong regional and national presence in lighting, window treatments, integrated technology and e-commerce.
Imagine More is also recognized as one of the largest Hunter Douglas dealers in the country, further demonstrating the company’s scale, expertise and established position within the window treatment category.
Why Integrators Should Take Note
“This acquisition significantly expands how and when Liaison can become part of a project,” said Steve Weber, Founder and CEO of Liaison Technology Group and President of Imagine More.
“By bringing Imagine More’s four established retail lighting showrooms and growing e-commerce business together with Liaison’s design, engineering and custom integration expertise, we can meet clients wherever their journey begins. It also allows us to collaborate earlier and more closely with designers, architects and builders to create a more complete and coordinated experience.
For Liaison’s manufacturing and vendor partners, the acquisition also creates new ways to introduce products, influence specifications and generate demand across retail, e-commerce, residential and commercial channels.
The model has the potential to reshape how custom integration companies market their services, build client relationships and expand into new categories, with both Liaison and Audio Advice serving as strong example of this model in action.
