The showrunners over at Commercial Integrator Expo (CIX) have announced the show will be hosting several educational programming sessions centered around artificial intelligence (AI) and how it will play into the future of professional AV.
From renowned tech futurist Scott Steinberg delivering a keynote on the AI revolution, to CEDIA hosting its own AI symposium in advance of this year’s tradeshow, AI continues to be a prominent topic throughout the industry leading up to both CEDIA and Commercial Integrator Expos.

In a new session, Artificial Intelligence: The Path Forward, attendees can gather knowledge to accelerate and simplify day-to-day business operations. Prasad Gandhikota, senior advisor for SAP, will dive deeply into the pillars of AI technology, AI projection execution strategies, AI ethics and more.

Amelia Vrabel, business development manager for AVI-SPL, and Steph Beckett, managing editor for rAVe [PUBS], will offer a peek into the future of conferencing and collaboration. Vrabel and Beckett will explore the current and future uses of AI technologies in the modern workplace, best practices for implementing AI and more.
Mark Anthony Richards, president of MSCG Security, will highlight the emergence of visual artificial intelligence analytics (VAIA) and how it is changing the HD surveillance market worldwide. This change is happening slowly, but it is revolutionizing build specifications and the ability to detect abnormalities that a regular IP/MP camera can’t.
The Interactive Multimedia & Collaborative Communications Alliance (IMCCA) will highlight new developments in AI and its effect on business, education and home environments. Attendees will gather knowledge on integrating meeting summary engines into collaboration systems and AI software to accelerate documentation.
In addition to sessions centered around AI, the Commercial Integrator Expo Conference features a kaleidoscopic variety of topics, including augmented reality, audio design, lighting design, immersive technologies, resimercial and more.
