At the upcoming CEDIA Expo 2023 show in Denver, Colo., on Sept. 7-9, the global video manufacturer Epson will demonstrate its line of 3LCD projectors.
The popular video equipment manufacturer states that it will showcase a number of products to highlight the variety of ways its product line provides home video entertainment to a wide array of consumers.
Epson points out that from a modern home setup, all the to a small apartment space or condo, its product line that’s powered by its proprietary 3LCD chipset can support a range of AV system applications. Some of the products the company will demonstrate include its Ultra-Short Throw (UST) 4K-PRO UHD EpiqVision Ultra LS800 projector, which can be used to complement smaller home spaces, and its EB-PU1008W large-venue projector that it is pairing with an 200-inch screen. This large-screen system will demonstrate an extreme racing experience that highlights the many ways homeowners can enjoy different kinds of content.
Elaborating on the EB-PU1008W large-venue projector demonstration, Epson says the demo will utilize the Next Level Racing GTtrack Cockpit and Traction Plus Platform, along with T818 direct-drive simulator steering wheels and TLCM load cell pedals from Thrustmaster. Epson boasts this racing simulation combined with the bright and clear images from the Epson EB-PU1008W provide a new level of performance, and combined with audio from the in-vehicle speaker pods from Alpine will provide attendees an awesome racing experience.
Another home theater demonstration Epson is planning features an immersive home theater experience that includes the 3LCD 4K-PRO Epson Pro Cinema LS12000 projector. The Pro Cinema LS12000 is driven by a proprietary Epson ZX Picture Processor that delivers high levels of picture processing that results in high levels of brightness, color accuracy and image detail.

In addition to the 3LCD-based LS12000, the theater room will also feature a 7.4.4 Dolby Atmos system powered by the new Marantz AV 10 Reference Preamplifier/Processor and Marantz AMP 10 Reference amplifier, and speaker system made up of KEF R Meta Series speakers and subwoofers. Accompanying the 4K Epson projector will be a Stewart Filmscreen StudioTek 130 G4 screen, and Lumagen Radiance Pro for video processing with source material provided by the digital content management system company Kaleidescape.
Taking place at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver, Epson’s demonstrations will held on the lower level in rooms #208, #210, and #212.
