NEC Display Solutions of America is a popular display provider within the commercial market and its latest product is the NC1402L laser projector.
According to the company, the NC1402L is an, “install anywhere laser projector” that features the company’s sealed-optical engine technology. NEC says this design feature creates a dust-proof protection shield around the optical element, and with the projector’s laser-based light engine, the NC1402L provides users with low levels of maintenance and eco-power options.
The laser light engine enables up to 50,000 hours of operational life under normal operating conditions, and the projector is cooled with an internal liquid cooling system that eliminates the need for cooling fans to enable the projector to operate quietly.
The projector is also a DCI-compliant product the delivers 2K images and high-frame rate capabilities.
NEC also points out the projector produces up to 9,500 lumens of brightness and it can fill screens up 45.9 feet.
In addition, the 1402L installs into floor and ceiling applications and it’s compatible with a range of lenses.
