Kwikset, a popular manufacturer of residential security and a brand within the ASSA ABLOY group, has announced new product offerings for the multifamily and light commercial markets. In addition to the Kwikset Casey light-commercial lever introduction, the company has announced the Milan and Halifax product families. Kwikset asserts these products are known for their sleek design and Signature Series quality, are expanding to include a storeroom lever option. Both collections will now include a keyed storeroom function that offers enhanced security for shared spaces. The lever’s deadlatch prevents the latch bolt from being retracted with tools such as a knife or credit card, making it a possible solution for storage rooms, supply closets, laundry rooms, employee-only areas and public restrooms.

Kwikset says the Milan features a minimalist design with a smooth handle, providing a clean, contemporary look that complements modern interiors. The Halifax lock the company continues, offers a streamlined, squared-off profile, bringing a modern edge to any space. Both families meet ANSI Grade AAA certification for security, durability and finish, and select finishes include Microban antimicrobial product protection.

The Kwikset Casey, Milan and Halifax families feature SmartKey Security on the storeroom and keyed entry functions, which allows users to rekey locks quickly and easily. The company also suggest that every product installs in minutes with just a screwdriver. All products fit standard 1 3/8-inch to 1 3/4-inch doors and are compatible with both right- and left-handed doors. The collections are ADA/ANSI compliant and backed by Kwikset’s limited lifetime mechanical and finish warranty.
