D-Tools is set to impress at CEDIA 2017 (booth #3035) with its new Mobile Quote 2.0 and new cloud service. The Bay Area company says the demo of its cloud platform represents the future of D-Tools, its dealer clients and the entire residential custom installation industry.
“This year CEDIA servces as a stage for D-Tools to showcase its forthcoming Cloud-based platform and to preview some of the visionary new capabilities that clients can expect as we move into the next phase of the company's evolution,” notes Randy Stearns, CEO, D-Tools. “While proud of the positive impact that D-Tools has had on thousands of system integrators since the turn of the century, our rapidly expanding team is most energized by the innovative ways we plan to change the industry in the years to come.”
D-Tools will preview its cloud-based service on Friday Sept. 8 at 3 p.m. with its partner Totem Acoustic sponsoring the event. D-Tools and Totem Acoustic will serve beer and other beverages, and D-Tools' employees will be on hand to answer attendee questions concerning the cloud-based tool.
The company will also be demoing its Mobile Quote 2.0 Apple iPad native app. The newly redesigned iOS app is designed to make it easy for integrators to walk perspective clients through technology options, while producing budgets for customer approval.
Data collected in the app instantly transfers into the D-Tools SI software for advanced design development and project management.
Leveraging the company's product library and workflow concepts, D-Tools says Mobile Quote 2.0 is capable of providing the specification of components by location and system, and it can generate signed approvals and it can collect design retainers.

In addition, D-Tools will also be offering manufacturer training (MFT) session called “Create a Project in System Integrator.” The MFT is scheduled for Friday Sept. 8 from noon to 1:30 p.m. in room 4.
