Luxul, a leading innovator of IP networking solutions for CEDIA professionals, has announced the availability of a new family of scalable wireless routers.
Designed specifically to help professional installers satisfy the ever-increasing demand for better networks, the new routers (XWR-3100 and XWR-1200) incorporate Luxul’s exclusive Roam Assist technology previously found only in the XWC-1000 Wireless Controller.
“The new XWR-3100 and XWR-1200 are much more than routers. They are also wireless controllers,” said Jeffrey Curtis, General Manager and Vice President of Luxul. “For installations where a single wireless router is just not enough to deliver complete Wi-Fi coverage, these routers offer a simple, reliable and cost-effective way to scale the network with up to 2 additional access points.”
Both new routers offer everything you would expect in a full-featured high-performance router including guest networking and VPN remote access.
The flagship XWR-3100 offers leading-edge 802.11ac Dual-Band 4×4 MUMIMO (Wave2) technology, with data rates up to 3100Mbps; while the XWR-1200 delivers data rates up to 1200Mbps.
Both products will be on authorized Luxul distributor shelves in October.
