At the upcoming AXPONA 2025 show in Chicago the global audio company Dynaudio will show its Confidence 20A and Contour 20 Black Edition loudspeakers in rooms #656 and #660.
Elaborating on the speakers it will show during the audiophile event, Dynaudio explains the Confidence 20A is an active version of its flagship Confidence 20 passive stand-mount loudspeaker. It builds on the legacy set by Focus XD, XEO, and Dynaudio Professional active loudspeakers the company says the active speaker makes a statement about the potential in modern active loudspeaker systems. Dynaudio points out all the electronics including amplification and DSP hardware are built into the stand, so all that’s needed is an external source with a volume control.Â
Also on display at AXPONA 2025 will be the Contour 20 Black Edition, which the company says utilizes improved internal components when compared to the original speaker. The tweeter and mid-bass driver have been upgraded to Confidence-level. The crossover has been simplified and upgraded with even better components, and the bass reflex port has had a major overhaul to improve performance as well. Â Dynaudio boasts that it wrapped the loudspeaker in a sleek, stealthy, and premium black finish that includes all its metal hardware and fasteners.
Dynaudio adds that it will be exhibiting with its St. Louis-based dealer Music for Pleasure, and it will be using products from Moon by Simaudio and Transparent Audio in its demo systems.
