These days with all of the photos, videos, music libraries and other digital content people own, storage is an important consideration for homeowners today.
Helping homeowners reliably store all of their digital content is the company PNY. Adding to its product line, the company recently announced its RP60 Portable Solid State Drive, which it offers in a choice of 1TB or 2TB versions. The electronics company says its new portable SSD features USB version 3.2 Type-C connections, and PNY emphasizes the product is designed to allow users to travel with their important digital files safely.
According to the company, the RP60 portable SSD operates at read/write speeds as fast as 2,000/MBs and 1,800MBs respectively, and PNY points out that homeowners can not only use it as a backup for their photos, home movies, and music libraries, but they can also use the product for gaming and the backup of important personal documents.
PNY adds the RP60 portable SSD offers users high levels of durability through a silicon shell that’s been tested under a variety of conditions. PNY stresses the portable hard drive is IP65 rated for water and dust-resistance, and it is drop resistant up to 9.8 feet (3 meters).
