Vanco 4K HDMI Audio Extractor Supports 4K at 60Hz, 18Gbps and 4:4:4

Adding to its product portfolio, Vanco has introduced its new 4K HDMI Audio ExtractorAs the name implies, the product extracts audio signals from HDMI sources to provide professional integrators the flexibility they often need to configure specific systems in residential whole-house A/V and light commercial environments. 

Vanco says the 4K HDMI Audio Extractor works with 4K at 60Hz with 4:4:4 chroma sub-sampling video signals, and the signal-management product also supports HDR content. 

Through its 18Gbps compliant bandwith capabilities, the 4K HDMI Audio Extractor can be used in systems that include state-of-the-art 4K Ultra HD signals with HDR.

Vanco's 4K HDMI Audio Extractor Provides Audio Options

Not only can the Vanco extractor handle full bandwidth Ultra HD 4K signals with HDR, but the company says the solution allows for the simultaneous output of HDMI audio, multichannel optical (SPDIF), and analog left/right audio in 2CH mode. 

Elaborating on the 4K HDMI Audio Extractor's optical audio capabilities, Vanco emphasizes it supports LPCM stereo, Dolby Digital 2.0 and 5.1 audio, and DTS 2.0 and 5.1 audio. It also supports LPCM, DTS-HD Master Audio and Dolby TrueHD. 

The product is is UL Listed and powered by a 5-volt power supply. The package contents include the main unit, 5V DC Power Supply and a user's manual.
