Simaudio to Exhibit at Home Town Montreal Audiofest

One of the highlights of the year for MOON is its home show: Montreal Audiofest. For 2025 MOON will be demonstrating a stunning system with its 641 integrated amplifier and the 681 network player/DAC at its heart. 

The 641 and 681 are models from MOON’s North Collection. The company says the 641 acts as the centerpiece of a system, housing a preamplifier and a power amplifier in a single unit. Moon by Simaudio asserts these products will drive the most demanding loudspeakers with refined power to deliver a performance that will satisfy the most discerning listener. The 641 state-of-the-art integrated amplifier comes with the company’s BRM-1 intelligent remote-control the features MOON volume knob and touch controls. 

The MOON 681 network player/DAC is said to deliver a seamless experience with the 641. It allows simple and quick access to music libraries and online streaming services through the proprietary MiND2 platform. The 681 incorporates a 4.3-inch screen displays cover art, song and artist names, and the company suggest the MOONLink communication the product to operate and integrate within a complete MOON system. 

At Montreal Audiofest, the MOON 641 and 681 will play through a pair of Dynaudio Contour legacy loudspeakers. The floorstanders are handmade in Denmark and the speaker’s form and driver array helps they will deliver the MOON sound. The system will be connected by a full range of Nordost Tyr 2 interconnects, speaker cables and power cords. Simaudio asserts the Nordost QB8 AC distribution unit will manage the power supply and will enhance the 3D imaging on the soundstage.

MOON will be in room Outremont 5, and the show hours are Friday 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Sat 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
