Luxul, a developer of IP networking solutions, will showcase its new lineup of SW Series Managed PoE+ AV switches in the Legrand | AV Booth #1506 at CEDIA Expo 2023 in Denver, Sept. 7-9.
The eight managed switches allow systems integrators to quickly set up, install, and manage any AV-over-IP (AVoIP) infrastructure with enough PoE+ to power multiple network devices. In addition, the company will present the new switches, as well as IGMP for AV over IP as part of Legrand | AV’s daily manufacturer’s training sessions.
“If you want to provide amazing AV experiences, a strong, reliable network infrastructure is essential,” states Myles Broadhead, associate product marketing manager, Luxul, Legrand | AV.
“At CEDIA Expo, we will showcase our new and improved SW Series Managed switches. These have been engineered to provide incredible network reliability to support today’s rigorous demands. Installers can deliver the magic of AV while eliminating any stress of maintenance and management. We’re also looking forward to bringing dealers up to speed on our latest WiFi 6 developments, which will bring faster connections, lower latency, and enhanced security to home networks.”
SW Series, Education Help Integrators Install Luxul Based Systems
During the annual trade event, Luxul will present its redesigned line of SW Series managed PoE+ AV gigabit switches, which feature an updated UI that it says simplifies setup and offers improved support for AVoIP installations. All eight models feature powerful PoE+ budgets ranging from 130 watts to 740 watts and come in a variety of port counts from eight all the way up to 48 PoE+ ports with rear and front port orientation options.
According to the company, these products support reliable, 24/7 display operation in conference rooms, small offices, or other AVoIP applications. The new Luxul managed PoE+ gigabit switches set the foundation for reliable networking products coming in the future and will begin shipping in Q4 2023.
Luxul also points out the SW Series is backed by a three-year warranty and lifetime support, and dealers can also take advantage of Luxul’s free network design service called the Customer Assurance Program (CAP). Luxul says CAP provides dealers with certified wired and wireless network designs for their commercial and residential projects — complete with tech support — that meet their customers’ reliability and performance requirements relating to Wi-Fi.
In addition, Luxul will take part in Legrand | AV’s CEDIA Expo Manufacturer’s Training. On Thursday, Sept. 7, the company will present, “IGMP for AV over IP,” from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., and will also present “New Luxul Managed Switches” from 1 to 2 p.m. in room 110/112 of the Colorado Convention Center in Denver.
