Daisy Expands in Colorado with New Franchise in Boulder and Castle Rock

Published: April 30, 2025

Daisy, the national home and small business technology installation and services company, is growing its Colorado footprint with a new franchise serving the Boulder and Castle Rock areas. Led by A.J. Kuhrmeyer, the new branch complements Daisy’s existing company-owned operation in Denver.

According to Daisy, Kuhrmeyer brings extensive business experience and a strong understanding of the smart home market to the role. He previously operated under the SaaviHome brand, a home automation company acquired by Daisy in September 2024. Now, the business is being converted to the Daisy brand, joining the company’s nearly 20-location network.

According to Daisy, While Kuhrmeyer at SaaviHome built a reputation for helping local families integrate innovative home technologies. Now, under the Daisy brand, he’s doubling down on that mission.

“I’m thrilled to help expand Daisy’s presence in Colorado, a state with immense opportunity in the smart home market,” Kuhrmeyer said. “My mission is to enhance the quality of life for members of our community by making Boulder’s living spaces smarter and more efficient. With Daisy’s support, we’re already delivering innovative solutions to our clients and looking forward to setting new benchmarks for success in this dynamic industry.”

Since launching the franchise in July 2024, Kuhrmeyer has already seen measurable growth. He’s now servicing clients across the region and has expanded his team to include both a Project Manager and a Business Development Manager, the company says.

The new franchise benefits from Daisy’s established infrastructure, including local support from the Denver branch and access to national franchise resources.

“A.J.’s proven leadership and rapid learning curve is a great example of the potential for future entrepreneurs entering this industry,” said Hagan Kappler, co-founder and CEO of Daisy. “It has been great seeing how A.J.’s talented local team, combined with the Daisy resources and franchise support team, can lead to rapid success. We’re very excited to be serving Boulder customers under A.J.’s leadership.”

According to the company, it wants to position itself as a growth engine for integrators looking to scale smart home and small business tech services. The company partners with builders, designers, and homeowners to deliver audio/video, lighting, shades, security, and control systems, all backed by scheduled support services.
