Sennheiser Communications A/S, the joint venture between Demant A/S and Sennheiser electronic GmbH & Co. KG, has previously announced that it will evolve in new setups.
During 2020, the joint venture will end and while the business segment of Mobile Music headsets will be part of the Sennheiser Consumer business in the future, Enterprise Solutions and Gaming headsets will evolve as a new independent company, EPOS, under the global audio and hearing technology group Demant.
Going forward, EPOS will manufacture and sell the existing Sennheiser Communications portfolio for Enterprises and Gaming co-branded as EPOS | SENNHEISER products, while also introducing a new EPOS branded portfolio.
“Sennheiser Communications has created great results for the past 16 years. 2019 has been a year of transition, getting ready for the new set-ups on both sides, but it has also been a year with great ambitions and incredible teamwork to get to where we are today”, says Jeppe Dalberg-Larsen, president at Sennheiser Communications, who will become President of EPOS.
“Now, I am happy to lead EPOS into a new exciting future. With the establishment of EPOS, we build on the legacy of Sennheiser Communications. This combined with a strong growth strategy and dedicated focus on Gaming and Enterprise Solutions headsets will bring a lot of new opportunities. We will move forward with a united team of experts, designing premium solutions with excellent audio experiences for both businesses and gamers.”
The Sennheiser Enterprise Solutions salespeople around the world transfer to the newly established EPOS.
Furthermore, all competency teams for Enterprise Solutions and Gaming in the headquarters in Denmark will at the end of the joint venture transfer to EPOS, which will still be located at the address in Industriparken 27 in Ballerup, Denmark.
