The 24th annual CE Pro 100 list is out, and offering a reflection on the custom installation market for 2023 by looking at some of the top performing companies within the market. The list of the leading smart home integration companies in the U.S. is a mix of large volume-based companies, retailers with installation operations, and traditional AV integrators.
Some of the key data points for this year’s list are:
- 3.6% revenue growth in 2022
- 210 residential installations per company
- Revenues of $6.8 million per company
The 2023 CE Pro 100 list includes 14 companies from California, with 10 from New York and eight each from Florida and Texas. One trend to look for in the list is the percentage of revenues from each company that come from recurring sources, such as service agreements. CE Pro 100 integrators, like others in the industry, are beginning to increase their RMR sources.
