Adding a pair of new products to its lineup, Bogen Communications says the new NQ-GA400P Audio-over-IP Gateway and NQ-GA40P3 Plenum-rated PoE++ Integrated Amplifier Module expand the functionality of its Nyquist E7000 and Nyquiest C4000 paging, audio distribution and sound masking solutions.
The N.J.-based company says new products expand the capabilities of its the Nyquist E7000 and Nyquist C4000 systems, which address paging, distributed audio and sound masking in environments that include commercial settings. The NQ-GA400P Audio-over-IP Gateway is designed to serve as a bridge between analog and digital systems. The unit digitally decodes analog signals and then transmits those digital signals over the network. Bogen notes those signals are then decoded by a second AoIP component to deliver line-level audio to analog-based systems.
Joining the NQ-GA400P Audio-over-IP Gateway as a new product launch, Bogen has also introduced NQ-GA40P3 Plenum-rated PoE++ Integrated Amplifier Module that provides increased power output for audio coverage for one-way, single-zone paging and audio distribution applications.
The company says the device features 40 watts of power, and through the NQ-GA40P3 power capabilities, the unit can expand the range of Bogen’s amplifier module series to offer a greater range of system configuration options.
Bogen adds the NQ-GA40P3 PoE++ Amplifier Module is plenum-rated to support installations in a variety of environments, including within walls, and the unit powered through a PoE++ capable network or a PoE-power injector.
