Rotel has announced three new and improved models in the Rotel 14 Series line, including the A10MKII and A11MKII Integrated Amplifiers and the CD11MKII CD Player.
The global home audio company states that all three models benefit from upgrades to critical components and circuit topology to add extra resolution and detail while maintaining their competitive market prices.
“Since our beginning in 1961, Rotel has continually invested in product and technological innovations.”, says Peter Kao, managing director of Rotel and part of the third-generation of the company’s original founding family.
“As a family-owned business we are ideally placed to offer an unwavering personal commitment to always delivering high-performance and high-value products, all built to our exacting quality standards in our own dedicated manufacturing facility.”
According to the company, the A11MKII and CD11MKII represent upgrades to Rotel’s Tribute Series models, which were inspired by—and co-operatively engineered with the late Ken Ishiwata. The new products Rotel states, seek to enhance the performance of their predecessors while remaining faithful to Ishiwata’s design philosophy and continue to pay homage to Ishiwata san’s 40+ year legacy in the audio business.

Explaining the products in greater detail, including the upgrades made to the newly announced 14 Series products, Rotel summarizes the new components:
A10MKII Integrated Amplifier
The A10MKII features a Class AB 2 x 50 watt (8 ohms) amplification section, and the 14 Series integrated amplifier provides professional integrators a moving magnet (MM) phono stage and three RCA analog source inputs. Rotel points out the A10MKII is powered by an in-house manufactured toroidal transformer that provides filtering storage capacitors. Rotel also points out the A10MKII features over 67 component upgrades, including in the power and amplifier gain stage that are said to deliver improved resolution and detail.
Rotel adds the integrated amp’s included IR remote control allows precise adjustment of the volume in the analog domain, as well as the selection of the input source. The front panel also includes bass, treble and balance controls plus a 3.5mm headphone output connector.
Additionally, the 14 Series A10MKII’s rear panel includes a single set of speaker binding posts, dual 12-volt trigger outputs and automatic power control switch are located on the rear panel.
A11MKII Integrated Amplifier
Like the A10MKII, the A11MKII Integrated Amplifier also incorporates Class AB 2×50 watt (8 ohms) amplifier section. Rotel states this newly announced model is an upgrade of the A11 Tribute model, and it too offers a MM phono stage, and three RCA analog source inputs. The 14 Series A11MKII adds wireless aptX HD and AAC Bluetooth connectivity, and the MKII model includes coaxial and optical inputs to provide connection options for digital sources at up to 24-bit/192kHz.
Internally, the A11MKII Integrated Amplifier employs a Texas Instruments PCM5102A 32-bit/384kHz DAC that is part of over 22 critical component upgrades in the digital circuits.
Rotel notes the included remote control provides motorized volume control and source selection. The front panel also includes bass, treble and balance controls plus a 3.5mm headphone jack. The A11MKII’s rear panel provides a single set of speaker binding posts, dual 12-volt trigger outputs and signal-sense automatic power control switch are located on the rear panel.
CD11MKII Compact Disc Player
Wrapping up the three new 14 Series product introductions is the CD11MKII CD Player. Rotel points out this new model replaces the existing CD11 Tribute model and includes over 10 critical components upgrades in the digital circuits surrounding the TI PCM5102A 32-bit/384kHz DAC.
Rotel says the new 14 Series source component provides users with a smooth action tray loading CD mechanism, LCD display, front panel controls, and included IR remote. The CD player’s RCA outputs provide integrators with simple connections to their clients’ audio systems, and the CD11MKII also includes a coaxial output allowing the unit to be used as a CD transport.
Other integrator-friendly options the CD11MKII CD player offers include a 12-volt trigger input and RS232 connections to support seamless integration with control systems.
All three new 14 Series products are expected for August 2023 releases at MSRPs of:
- A10MKII retail price is $599
- A11MKII retail price is $799.99
- CD11MKII retail price is $599.99
