Introducing AOC’s 2239Fwt Full HD LED touch screen Notebook Monitor
Fremont, CA — With the rise in popularity of small, portable notebooks and net books, screen sizes have decreased dramatically. What was once easy to read on your old 22-inch screen is now almost ineligible on your new portable net book, especially large spreadsheets, word documents or text-heavy websites. This Father’s Day, AOC is rolling out their 2239fwt Full HD Touch Screen LED Notebook Monitor. The display, which will be available at an MSRP of $239, is positioned as a large-screen home or office anchor display for the smaller portable devices. From both, its easy connectivity and space-saving design, it is clear that the 2239Fwt was designed to fit today’s portable computing consumer. The 2239Fwt will be available in late July at Fry’s, Microcenter, TigerDirect and Ultimate Electronics.
Dual Stand Design and Connectivity
AOC displays are designed to be visually pleasing, but also practical. The dual stand design gives a unique look and the space between both stands easily accommodates a net book.
To connect a notebook/ net book to the 2239Fwt you must first turn it on, slide open net book and place it between the dual stands. The display connects directly to the device through any of the various input connections: D-sub, HDMI and USB. The display features an USB Hub with 3 USB connections in the back of the panel.
The 2239Fwt embodies the spirit of modernity and the display is equipped with Multi-Touch Screen technology. This feature makes it easier and more fun than ever to view and manage files or pictures. Even the On-Screen Display is accessed via a discreet touch-sensitive controls located on the display frame. Additionally, the 2239fwt is compatible with the Windows 7 Operating System.
The 2239Fwt takes a cue from previous AOC products, in emphasizing high-quality output and low power consumption. The 2230Fwt boasts a power consumption of as low as 25w, that’s half the energy required by any other display its size. Another of the display’s energy saving features is the power off timer that will shut the display off at a pre-set time.
“Business people, students and people on the go are now using mini net books due to the convenience of portability. However, the convenience ends when you get home or to the office and now are forced to work off a 12-inch screen. The 2239Fwt extends the convenience of the mini net books by making it easily accessible on a large-screen ‘anchor display’,” said Robert Velez, Marketing Manager, AOC North America.
