Adding to its Axient line of wireless digital audio products, Shure has introduced its AD3 Plug-On Transmitter.
Shure says its Axient line of products can be used to support a range of applications, including broadcast, live events and film, and its new AD3 can be used to transmit microphone signals in those types of environments.
The popular pro and consumer electronics company says the AD3 transforms a wired source into a wireless source, and users can employ the product on solutions such as shotgun boom microphones on boom poles. Shure also states the unit works with its Axient Digital AD4D and AD4Q rack receivers in standard or high-density modes.
Shure points out the product also incorporates its “locked” XLR connector design, a user-friendly control menu, an OLED display, and it comes with a pouch, belt clip and USB-C cable.
Additionally, the AD3 Plug-On Transmitter also supports the use of Shure’s SB900A rechargeable batteries, and conventional AA batteries.
