Logitech has expanded its Mevo ecosystem of products with the introduction of its Mevo Go.
The popular electronics company states that its latest product is a new companion app for iOS and Android devices that turns these devices into a source for sending video, audio and screencasting content to a range of devices to support content creators without the need for additional equipment. Logitech explains the Mevo Go enables users to stream and record multicam video in HD (1080p) using dedicated Mevo cameras and other mobile devices.
Logitech notes that its new Mevo Go app solution is also available with a Mevo Pro version (an in-app purchase) that users can try for free for 14 days and the company points out the Mevo Go to Mevo Multicam requires a Mevo Pro subscription. Mevo Pro is available to users for a fee of $19 per month or users can pay an annual subscription fee of $149. Once a user subscribes to the Pro level of service they will be able to create a range of content, and the newly announced app is now available from the Apple App Store and Google Play for download.
