Legrand Shading Systems has announced a newly updated Fabric Sampling Portal. The latest iteration of the portal adds visually rich functionality and intelligent search and filtering options that enable dealers to quickly find and order fabric samples to fit their shading project’s specifications, according to Legrand Shading Systems.
Additionally, the new digital experience is said to be part of the company’s ongoing commitment to providing excellent shading resources and support.
“When we launched the portal, it was designed to give dealers an easy way to order fabric samples,” says Richard Laliberty, product marketing manager, Shading and Residential Controls, Legrand North America.
“As we’ve continued to broaden our fabric collections to feature almost 700 fabrics, we’ve worked to ensure that process remains simple. The result is an updated interface that makes the experience even more user-friendly and faster.”
These new enhancements to Legrand Shading Systems’ Fabric Sampling Portal make the fabric selection process much more streamlined, the company says.

The site update includes numerous filters that help to narrow down the fabric search to only the pertinent fabrics, including color, openness factor/fabric type, price group, quick ship status, and fabric properties.
A product zoom capability allows users to see the fabric in greater detail. In addition, users can reference additional fabric specifications, such as the widest width available. Dealers can use the predictive search function, which yields results by collection, color, or part number.
Legrand Shading Systems Continues to Support Industry Needs
Legrand Shading Systems, which has undergone a rebrand and introduced various integrator- and designer- friendly solutions in recent years, offers manual and automated shading product lineup.
Its automated roller shades are the only option on the market, the company claims, with a patented manual override control in the event of a power outage or misplaced controller. Its battery-powered shades come with alkaline batteries that are hidden inside and are ready to program.
Legrand’s battery-powered and wired motorized products are available in among the narrowest sizes on the market — as small as 15.5 inches wide — and in select fabric options can be made in sizes up to 13-feet wide by 15-feet tall.
The extremely designer-friendly fabric lineup features 100+ collections, almost 700 fabrics, and is available in several colors from leading manufacturers.
