Lutron is expanding its educational presence at CEDIA Expo 2026 with more than 20 free Manufacturer Product Training (MPT) sessions covering intelligent lighting, shading, HomeWorks, RadioRA 3, system design and sales strategies.
The expanded schedule is part of a broader push by Lutron to increase its presence at the show, including bringing more trainers, engineers, sales personnel and marketing staff to Denver.
“We’re doubling our number of training sessions,” Ed Blair of Lutron told CE Pro earlier this year.Â
Lutron will also continue offering its hands-on Lutron Lab, where attendees can interact with products and technologies and connect directly with the engineers who develop them.
Lutron MPTs Cover Lighting, Shading and Business Strategies
Sessions scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 2, and Thursday, Sept. 3, range from introductory courses for prospective Lutron dealers to more advanced HomeWorks and RadioRA 3 education.
Lighting-focused sessions include “Launch Your Lighting Business: Where to Start & How to Win,” “The True Cost of Intelligent Lighting—Explained” and “First Look: Lutron’s Newest Intelligent Lighting Solutions.”
Other courses address HomeWorks specification and design, system modernization and new capabilities in HomeWorks QSX and RadioRA 3.
Shading is another focus, with sessions examining Lutron’s latest shading products as well as the impact fabric selection can have on aesthetics, daylight management, privacy and comfort.
Lutron is also offering business-focused education, including “Sell the Dream: Storytelling Strategies That Win Luxury Projects,” along with peer discussions centered on intelligent lighting and lessons learned from real-world HomeWorks and shading installations.
For attendees who do not currently work with Lutron, “From Curious to Certified: Getting Started with Lutron” will introduce the company’s lighting controls, automated shading and intelligent lighting portfolio and provide information about becoming a dealer.
Lutron’s MPT sessions will be held in Rooms 108 and 110 throughout Sept. 2 and Sept. 3. The sessions are free, although eligibility requirements vary by course.
The full MPT schedule is available through the CEDIA Expo Manufacturer Product Training page.
