Rockustics, the MSE Audio speaker brand designed to blend in with the natural landscape, is launching a new line of modern, geometrically-inspired outdoor speaker designs with its new Monument series that features three models: the BlockRock, Topozoid and BlockTop.
Debuting at CEDIA Expo 2023 in Denver, Colorado in booth #909, Rockustics says the BlockRock is an omnidirectional two-way speaker. The speaker is equipped with a 6.5″ coax woofer and .75″ dome tweeter and delivers 360° of dynamic audio. For flexible installation options, a 64-watt transformer is available for 70-volt systems. The unit’s UV-stable, proprietary resin mixed with marble dust and texturing agents molded into a strong, thick housing is designed to withstand rain, frost, snow, and ice, making it an ideal choice for a range of outdoor settings – from theme parks and resorts to residential pools and patios. BlockRock is available in marble- and slate- look finished.
Complementing the BlockRock, the Topozoid and BlockTop models weatherproof disguise for the company’s SubScape 10” or 12” subwoofer. Constructed from the same classic Rockustics materials, these models are designed to ensure durability and camouflage for landscape sound systems without compromising the audio quality. BlockTop is available in a slate finish while Topozoid comes in a white marble-like or black finish.
According to Rockustics, the SubScape series, with the new BlockTop and Topozoid bass output covers, seamlessly blend the company’s direct-burial, high-power subwoofers into any environment. Rockustics says the subwoofers make the perfect companion to the Monument and Periscape outdoor speaker series, offering power handling of 250 to 300 watts RMS. A built-in transformer provides convenience for 70V installations, and the subwoofers may also be operated in 8-ohm direct mode, with the recommended use of the PhaseTech P350 subwoofer amp.
“We believe that great design is as much about how things look as how they function,” says Shannon Humphrey, president of MSE Audio. “With the Monument series, we’re proving that homeowners don’t have to compromise on either. These speakers are not just pieces of equipment, but integral parts of the outdoor living space – stylish, robust, and delivering the exceptional sound quality that Rockustics is known for.”
While at CEDIA Expo 2023, Rockustics will be joined by MSE Audio brand PhaseTech, who will be debuting its new line of Power Lux DSP subs meant to complement the brand’s Premier Lux line of audiophile speakers. PhaseTech will also be partnering with multiple audio manufacturers to highlight an “affordable luxury home theater setup” with dARTS.
