Through the combination of product type, price points and technologies, Definitive Technology says integrators can use its new Dymension CI Series for home theater, whole-house AV and light commercial installations. At CEDIA Expo 2023 in Denver on Sept. 7-9, Definitive Technology will launch its new Dymension CI Series of custom integration architectural loudspeakers.
Exhibiting in booth #3012, the series of in-wall and in-ceiling speakers will be offered to integrators in two performance levels: Dymension CI PRO and Dymension CI MAX. Definitive Technology boasts the new Dymension CI Series deliver the sound quality the brand is known for, along with weather protected and easy-to-integrate designs.
According to the Calif.-based manufacturer, its new smart-home friendly speakers are offered in a range of models and price points, including models with pivoting woofers, stereo input and its signature bipolar array.
Dymension CI Series Support an Array of Applications
The Dymension CI PRO Series introduces Definitive Technology’s acoustical engineering to a lineup of five cost-effective, and easy-to-install CI speakers. These speakers are designed to accommodate a diverse array of whole-house AV or light commercial audio installations.
The step-up Dymension CI MAX Series represents the company’s highest level of custom installation speakers. This eight-speaker lineup showcases Definitive Technology technologies such as mineral-filled BDSS woofers with Linear Response Waveguide, aluminum oxide dome tweeters, and advanced crossover networks.

Definitive Technology notes this line of products were developed to complement critical listening applications and those seeking the highest-performance speakers for home theater installations. The MAX series in-ceiling models feature pivoting woofers, and Definitive Technology emphasizes, the speakers can be placed virtually anywhere, including sloped and coffered ceilings, while directing sound to homeowners’ seating locations.
Helping integrators to fill home spaces with high volumes of sound, the DW-MAX SUR in-wall loudspeaker features Definitive Technology’s bipolar array with both woofers and tweeters fixed at a 40-degree offset angles that create an expansive soundfield with a wide sweet spot.
The company stresses both the Dymension CI PRO and MAX Series leverage years of research and engineering to maximize performance and ease of install. The speakers employ two-piece toolless installation systems, pivoting aluminum oxide dome tweeters, paintable magnetic grilles, border-free design, and anIP55-rating for versatile indoor/outdoor use.
Definitive Technology adds that its latest speakers are timbre-matched to the Dymension tower and center channel speakers and the upcoming Mythos on-wall speakers that are set to launch in October 2023. The combination of these in-room, architectural and on-wall speakers provides integrators the flexibility to mix and match speakers based on the requirements of the job to design customized audio solutions.
