LG has unveiled several new big-screen displays from its MAGNIT line, alongside newer next-generation microLED displays, while at InfoComm 2024 this week.
In fact, the centerpiece of LG’s exhibit is the company’s latest micoLED display, which is scheduled for release by the end of the year. The display incorporates AI technology to enhance picture quality and overall performance.
Additionally, the display features far smaller LED chips that what is used on average, each measuring approximately 16 micrometers wide by 27 micrometers long, delivering high contrast, vivid colors, and extraordinary detail, the company says.
The 136-inch model integrates 25 million of these tiny chips, precisely produced and evaluated using similar AI technology to what is currently being leveraged in its OLED and QNED line of displays. An advanced AI processor analyzes the brightness and tone of the LED chips in real time, automatically calibrating them to achieve the best possible picture quality, the Korean display manufacturer says.

The display also boasts certification for color consistency over wide viewing angles, ensuring uniform image quality from any perspective.
Another MAGNIT model, the All-in-One is a 136-inch display equipped with a built-in controller and speakers. LG markets this model for offices and conference rooms.
The company also showcased a new 97-inch OLED TV, the evo Gallery Ediction TV, which features cinema-worthy picture, color and sound, the company says.
Other display solutions from LG highlighted at InfoComm 2024 include a 171-inch LED digital signage screen and 105-inch screen that feature a 21:9 aspect ratio designed for videoconferencing.
