VUDU, NetStreams Deliver Multiroom Video Distribution
Content from VUDU XL set top box can be distributed throughout home and controlled with DigiLinx.
VUDU and NetStreams have announced they will deliver multiroom video distribution solutions using the VUDU XL as the video server.
When connected to the DigiLinX IP-Based Distributed Audio, Video and Control system, content from the VUDU XL set top box can be distributed throughout the home and controlled with DigiLinX.
The VUDU XL has one terabyte of storage, allowing users to watch movies in multiple rooms rather than having access through one TV.
VUDU offers more than 5,000 movies directly to TVs without requiring a PC, cable or satellite TV subscription.
VUDU and NetStreams announced their partnership last month at EHX Spring.
NetStreams will make a new driver as a separate download.
VUDU has continued to increase its focus on the custom channel and IPTV products. It claims to offer the most titles of any IPTV venture.
