Retailer hhgregg Accepts Circuit City Gift Cards Through Feb.
Circuit City cards can be applied toward any hhgregg purchase, up to 20% of total purchase price.
Indianapolis-based appliance and electronics leader hhgregg (NYSE:HGG) will continue its promotion to accept Circuit City gift cards through Super Bowl Sunday weekend, which ends February 1, 2009.
The cards can be applied toward any hhgregg purchase, up to 20 percent of the total hhgregg purchase price. It is not available for use on hhgregg.com.
"We are continuing this promotion as a way to demonstrate hhgregg’s superior customer service and to assist those who may be impacted by other retailer’s store closures," said hhgregg VP of marketing Jeff Pearson in a statement.
"Consumers can now use their Circuit City gift card balance toward electronics, as well as appliances and mattresses that are available at hhgregg."
In its statement, hhgregg notes that the promotion is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Circuit City.
