Overtaking longtime category leader Sony, Microsoft garners the top spot in the category of Gaming Systems.

Sony, the leader in the Blu-ray player category, has a commanding advantage over Samsung, Integra, Oppo Digital and Kaleidescape. Oppo lands back in the top five in 2017.

2017 marks the first year for a Video Distribution Switcher/Extender category. Control companies like Control4, Crestron and Savant dominate the top of the list, plus Binary (SnapAV) and Atlona.

Satellite TV installations seem to be steady business for a chunk of the CE Pro 100. DirecTV leads the way with Dish Network second.
