The newly announced EnGenius Technologies ECS5512F 12-port network switch is a networking solution that can be used for a variety of applications.
EnGenius explains that its latest switch is an expandable, cloud-managed solution that offers dealers and their clients 12 ports, along with 10G fiber SFP+ connectivity in a device that is in a half rack size. The Costa Mesa, Calif.-based company says that integrators can use the ECS5512F 12-port network switch can be used to boost network traffic in environments such as businesses, multi-dwelling units, schools and hotels.
The company points out the network switch offers network administrators its EnGenius Cloud cloud management functionality that facilitates fast configurations, 24/7 monitoring and remote troubleshooting capabilities. EnGenius emphasizes that through its compact design and ability to scale from 12 to 24 SFP+ points within a single rack space, integrators can design networks with future proofing in mind.
In addition, the ECS5512F 12-Port network switch provides features such as 802.1X & RADIUS Authentication, IGMP & MLD snooping, 802.2ad Link Aggregation, and Spanning Tree, Rapid Spanning Tree and Multiple Spanning Tree capabilities.
