Adding more home automation options to its product line, Bond Home has introduced its new Sidekick for Shades and Sidekick Scene Keypad products.
The N.J.-based manufacturer states that its latest RF-to-Wi-Fi products provide homeowners and integrators with an easy way to control window shades, ceiling fans and fireplaces. Bond Home points out the Sidekick for Shades product is a universal remote control device that is capable of operating window shades and awnings that employ Rollease, Somfy, Dooya, Nice and AMP motors.
According to the company, the Sidekick for Shades’ five-channel buttons can be programmed for individual or batch control, and no Bridge or cabling is required during the setup process. The battery-powered keypad mounts flush to a wall or electrical control box, and it ships with a matching white faceplate.
Bond Home says the Sidekick Scene Keypad is an eight-button, fully programmable keypad. The company comments the Sidekick Scene Keypad works in conjunction with the Bond Bridge Pro, as well as the Control4 and Elan Home Systems home automation platforms. Additionally, Bond Home notes, the Sidekick Scene Keypad will work with control platforms with RTI and URC. The Sidekick Scene Keypad can be used to trigger shades, entertainment systems, HVAC systems and other components in the home.
